Most LED crane safety lights on the market today are sold as individual components that the user must figure out how to install on the crane. The typical crane safety light used is a Chinese manufactured 9-60VDC red or blue LED light with a 10-foot cable. Usually, each light requires its own 120VAC to 24VDC power supply that needs to be connected to the pigtail and then you must figure out where to mount the power supply on the trolley or bridge. Often, the addition of a 460VAC to 120VAC transformer is necessary, which also must be mounted somewhere on the bridge or trolley.
Sometimes the more useful option of a 460VAC to 24VDC power supply to power a maximum of four lights is offered. This power supply needs to be mounted with a terminal strip in a junction box that the end user must build.
Again, these items are supplied as components only, and the user must build their own DIY package.
ECG's turnkey package includes everything a user would need to easily install on a crane system. The user needs not to source ANY material. The user just needs to mount the pre-engineered junction box in a convenient location, make the electrical connections, and mount the crane safety lights in the desired location.
